- : Whew! Hot stuff! Tell me, what refresh rate do I get at 640x480, and
- : how fast are the colors (16 of them - remember, OCS)?
-
- Darned RTin!
- Well, the Amiga has had 320x512 PAL 60Hz 4096 (HAM) colours since 1985,
- or 32 real colours or 64 EHB. Or 640x512 16 colours, with overscan more -
- do THAT on your 1990 PC!
- Now you tell me what were the standard PC graphics in 1985!
- EGA 320x240 16 coloours!
-
- Besides, how many of those older Amigas are in use now ????
- If you want to make comparisons at LEAST compare 1992 AGA with 1996 SVGA
- Or go back to the 286 PC owners ;)
-
- Amiga Productivity mode (ECS) is 640x480 30khz (4 colours)
- If you have a A3000 (ECS) you get a flicker fixer so you get ALL
- ECS/OCS resolutions at 30khz...
